    What is this ‘Lorem Ipsum’ or ‘Lorum Ipsum’ stuff?
    In publishing and graphic design, placeholder text is commonly used to demonstrate the elements of a document or visual presentation, such as font, typography, and layout. Even though using “lorem ipsum” often arouses curiosity because of its resemblance to classical Latin, it is not intended to have meaning.

  • Adding images from Word documents using WordPress

    Sometimes people send images and photos in Word documents. Don’t ask me why, but it happens.

    If you try to upload this Word document to your web page using WordPress, then you’ll end up with a downloadable file link, instead of the image. This is because WordPress doesn’t know what’s inside the file – it just looks at the file extension (the part of the filename with either .doc or .docx) and assumes you want to upload a file for web users to download.

    To find all the large files on your mac, you can download Disk InventoryX, a free and easy-to-use tool that scans your hard drive, and presents you with a graphical depiction of its contents.
