Case study:Brenda’s Easy-to-swallow Cookbook

We were thrilled when a cookbook we designed, copy-edited and printed on behalf of the Mouth Cancer Foundation was highly commended in the Best Charitable Initiative in Oncology category in the prestigious Pfizer 2010 Excellence in Oncology awards.

‘Brenda’s Easy-to Swallow Cookbook’, aimed at survivors of mouth cancer, was one of only three initiatives nationwide to make it to the shortlist. The cookbook contains 40 pages of recipes and tips for sufferers of mouth cancer and those who have difficulty in chewing and swallowing food. The recipes were collected from mouth cancer sufferers as well as celebrity chefs such as Nigella Lawson, Rick Stein, Antony Worrall Thompson and Phil Vickery.

The book has sold over 500 copies to people all over the world, including the US, Canada, Australia and Scandinavia.
